  People was lovely. unfortunately though the water tasted as though it had a urinal cake to disinfect it or something alike to that. I got the 1 person dinner number 6. the noodles tasted like chemicals as well as the sweet and sour pork. the shredded ginger beef tasted fine to me but my mom who was eating it as well said it tasted like chemicals also. unfortunatly not the best experience there I would say over the one thing to be really careful about is the water there I'm not local to castlegar and don't drink the city water there generally so I can't say whether it was the city water or just J & V restaurant. It could just be bad luck that one time. I'm not saying to not give it a chance I'm just saying to be aware. I hope this helps someone out
